After a long week of driving on the road i stumbled across this hidden gem on Thanksgiving, and I must say I was impressed. The food was on point, and seasoned to perfection. The hospitality was excellent I'd recommend this spot to share with friends and family.. Box Truck Mike

This place has excellent service and down home cooking. The Soulfood wrap with extra yams is top notch, so much flavor. The meatloaf tastes like your mom made it, tender and saucy. I like it and the pork chop smothered in gravy, but you can get it without. The collards are exceptional. The corn bread is soft with a slight crust and just a little sweet. And the banana pudding is so luxurious and just the right amount of sweetness.

Amazing! All their sides are vegetation and are very well seasoned. Would highly recommend. Prices are very good especially for how much food you get.

The building is quite cozy and well kept. Our server was very friendly. The total cost for our meal was very reasonable. Everything was excellent. The smothered pork chop was very tender. I would definitely go back.

The food was amazing, everything was hot & the seasoning was perfect. I had the fried hard catfish with collard greens & my partner had the same but added Mac n cheese which was also good.

We had the farewell brunch after our wedding at The Candied Yam, and they could have not done a better job! Excellent food, excellent service, and a very reasonable price. Would 100% recommend.
